Position Summary

Position Summary

MPI Technician required to support a long-term project located in Birmingham.  You will take a pro-active lead in the delivery of MPI inspection and supporting the site project lead and operations manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing MPI inspections in accordance with company procedures and relevant standards.
  • Interpret inspection results in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
  • Perform equipment checks and calibrations as required.
  • Collect and collate inspection data with sketches and images where applicable.
  • Generate technical reports.
  • Perform all work with in-line with MISTRAS safety work practices and procedures.​

Essential Certification / Qualifications:

  • PCN MPI Level 2

Desirable Qualifications:

  • PCN UT Level 2
  • PCN VT Level 2
  • CCSNG / CSCS
  • C&G Confined Space

Experience / Skills:

  • Good level of attention to detail
  • Good communication and report writing skills
  • Good level of IT Skills
