PRODUCT TESTING

Engineering has a large and complete development laboratory for fully testing the our products in various ways.

First, they prove their designs in the lab on the test benches, filled with test equipment. Next, they perform validation to assure that their designs meet all the listed requirements and specifications in either the design plan or the customer contract. Third, engineering performs testing to assure that we meet outside standards such as OSHA, CE Mark (European Certification) standards, Intrinsically safe certification to name a few. Finally, the engineering staff assists the manufacturing and customer service staff as they need support.

The Engineering staff develops test procedures for every circuit board and system that it develops. Each test procedure provides a list of the instruments needed in order to perform the full testing, a block diagram of the test equipment setup to the system or circuit under test, a step by step test procedure with measurements and a test data sheet where all the measurements of the board or system are listed against acceptance criteria. Each of these records are kept as a record of the test and calibration of that board or system and is available to the customer.
