Ferndale, WA - USA Overview

MISTRAS Group’s Ferndale, WA - USA metals lab is your OneSource for weld and material testing and program development needs.

Our Ferndale lab specializes mechanical testing for weld quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC). Our Tensile, Charpy, Hardness (including Vickers, Rockwell, and Brinell), and Bends tests help to evaluate the strength and material properties of your metals.

As experts in weld procedure development, we assist our clients in implementing, expanding, or upgrading your welding program and procedures. We’ll walk you through the tests your assets need, perform them, and help you design your qualification tests to best match your current and future needs.

Our lab is also equipped for material identification and chemical analysis, including positive material identification (PMI)

We conduct these tests according to a wide range of customer and industry codes. We work quickly (with flexible schedules and swift turnaround times), and expertly, with on-site CWIs/CWB inspectors.

We’re also equipped for field services, in combination with MISTRAS’ Bellingham, WA—USA office. Our teams offer a wide range of non-destructive examination (NDE) inspections, rope access services, in-situ metallography, and more.
