Princeton Junction, NJ – May 2004 – MISTRAS Holdings Group is proud to announce the release of NOESIS v4.0, advanced Data Analysis, Neural Network and Pattern Recognition Software for Windows, designed and optimized for the analysis of Acoustic Emission data. Developed by one of the Group’s charter members, Envirocoustics ABEE, Athens, Greece, NOESIS is very user friendly, even for those who are not experts in pattern recognition. At the same time, it maintains a high level of functionality and flexibility and offers advanced functions for the experienced pattern recognition analyst. Although, in order to get the maximum return out of NOESIS, a deeper understanding of pattern recognition theory and techniques are required, Acoustic Emission users can easily start data analysis and evaluation with common AE practices and extended analysis capabilities through clustering and classification of multidimensional data.
NOESIS is a post processing and semi-real-time (a few seconds delay) software designed to help AE users identify AE signatures and automate the analysis and results evaluation process. It is not restricted to clustering and classification algorithms, as are most other PR market products, but includes many features that help users manage, view, filter and evaluate data. NOESIS contains a wide array of tools for viewing, analyzing, filtering data and much more.
Unique NEW features of NOESIS v4.0 include:
Live-SPR (Supervised classification) – NOESIS v4.0 is capable of loading, displaying, manipulating and classifying data during acquisition via acquisition software and predefined classifiers, including Periodic Statistics for cluster evolution monitoring and assessment. Most post-processing actions (selections, graph changes, etc.) can be performed in real time.
Time segment filtering – allows the user to filter entire time segments.
Addition of comments in DTA files according to user actions (filtering) for traceability.
Density Plots – color-by-value scatter plots are available in any view.
