PdM COE - THIRD PARTY ACCEPTANCE TESTING

Whenever new equipment is being installed, there is always the question of whether the machines are in good operating condition at the time when they are turned over to the end user.

MISTRAS Services provides that answer by acting as a third party between the seller and the buyer of the equipment. Our certified Engineers and Technicians not only perform expert vibration analysis services to assure the machines are running smoothly, but also perform other quality inspection services to insure you are getting what you paid for.

MISTRAS personnel will even go to the manufacturer's site to perform Third Party Acceptance testing of your machines before they are shipped to your facility. In that way any problems we find can be solved directly by the OEM. Once the equipment is in place at your site, it should be checked again since a lot can happen to your systems during shipping and construction. Note also that if the machines are not in an acceptable condition, MISTRAS has the expertise to oversee the manufacturer's repairs or to perform precision balancing, alignment, and other mechanical and acoustical improvements to the equipment.
