Located in Connecticut’s Aerospace Alley, MISTRAS Group’s Hartford, CT – USA lab is the premier non-destructive testing (NDT) supplier for aerospace in the Northeast and surrounding regions of the United States.

Equipped with Low Voltage Radiographic Testing (RT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Visual Testing (VT) at Level III service, the Hartford lab provides customers with the highest of quality and a fast turnaround. 

Being NADCAP, ISO, FAA-Repair, and EASA certified allows us to work with Aerospace, Department of Defense (DoD), and other manufacturing primes, as well as their sub-tier vendors and a multitude of industrial and commercial companies. Our testing methods are applied to various finished, semi-finished, and raw materials, both welded and non-welded, depending on the stage and purpose to ensure their integrity is intact with their design and function. Typical weld inspections are applied to Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Electron Beam (EB), and more.

In addition to our in-house lab services, the lab offers field RT, MT, and VT services. We service a variety of industries, including AerospaceOil & Gas, Power Generation, Pipeline, Manufacturing, Processing, Chemical, and Municipal. Business disciplines are kept in compliance with regulations, and we inspect and monitor the mechanical integrity of piping, pressure vessels, and other various assets.
