Position Summary
Are you looking for a fresh challenge in the engineering field? MISTRAS are looking for multi-skilled NDT Technicians to join our team in South Wales. You’ll have responsibility for the delivery of non-destructive testing (NDT) within our UK operation, taking a lead role in the on-site delivery of such services.
Our NDT Technicians have sector experience in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Wind Energy, Fossil Power and other similar process related industries - we value your knowledge in these areas.
Essential Qualifications for these roles are – MPI PCN Level 2 and UT 3.1 / 3.2 PCN Level 2.
Major Responsibilities/Activities
- Performing NDT activities in line with the job pack in a safe and efficient manner
- Managing client relations on site in a professional manner
- Applying testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications
- Interpreting and evaluating inspection results
- Preparation of client inspection reports
- Reviewing and approving client inspection reports
- Mentoring and training apprentice NDT personnel in the method(s) in which certified

- PCN Level 2
