What to expect
Your journey at MISTRAS will begin as an Assistant Technician, where you will assist Level II NDT Technicians with designated NDT activities while gaining valuable experience and knowledge.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities
- Log all on the job (OTJ) hours and submit to the Quality Manager weekly
- Assist with setting up/tearing down of equipment and documentation of services provided
- Favorable drug/background screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to respond to short notice work assignments with occasional travel
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Capability to complete classroom, computer-based, on the job training towards NDT certifications
- Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications (preferred)
