MISTRAS Group’s branch in Wekstoffprüfung Leverkusen – Germany combines a wide range of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods with expertise in materials selection and engineering to provide clients with comprehensive data on their materials' properties and potential defects. With non-destructive material tests, our technicians test raw material during component production, ad the particles after installation in technical constructions. Our inspection specialists are qualified up to Level III according to DIN EN ISO 4179. Our team examines test objects in their entire cross-section to help determine the location, shape, and extent of possible defects with state-of-the-art techniques. Our technicians use X-ray and gamma rays, ultrasound methods, propagating eddy current (EC) methods, magnetic flux leakage (MFL), penetrant testing (PT), and more. At this site, X-ray bunkers are available for radiographic testing (RT). All procedures in our NDT portfolio are standardized and carried out according to established guidelines.
