Next-Generation MFL Technology: A Tale of Two Systems
Onstream Pipeline Inspection provides In Line Inspection services to pipeline operators through the utilization of 'smart pigs'. Our fleet of axial Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL), caliper, and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) equipped tools services pipelines ranging from 3" to 36" diameter. Our tools feature the latest sensor technology with our Tristream 3-axis MFL sensors, providing a more in-depth understanding and analysis of complex features while providing the highest specification to our customers. Our tool fleet includes bidirectional tethered tools from 3" to 18" with wireline support equipment for shorter unpiggable segments. Since our first inspection run in 2007, we have developed robust tool designs for the harshest environments while allowing in-field modification to assist customers in achieving high first-run success across integrity management programs. Onstream's focus is on service and making it right the first time in both project execution and data reporting.
