MHG APPOINTS WILLIAM "BILLY" BURTON TO SOUTH EAST REGIONAL EXECUTIVE

Princeton Junction, NJ - September 2004 - MISTRAS Holdings Group is pleased to announce the appointment of William Burton to the position of South East Regional Executive for the Group's Services Division. Reporting to Dennis Bertolotti, President, William (Billy) will be responsible for overseeing and developing new territories in the South East Region.

Since 1996, Billy Burton has made a tremendous impact in developing our presence in the South East. Billy has proven his capabilities as a manager and a strong leader to the NDT community. With the acquisition of CONAM Inspection & Engineering Services in 2003 and our continued plans for expansion, Billy Burton will continue to be at the front line in determining the direction of the company in the South East.
