Princeton Junction, NJ – March, 2017 – MISTRAS Group, Inc. (NYSE:MG) is proud to announce that employees assigned to the Chevron Refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi have completed over one million hours of work with zero recordable injuries.

Chevron recognized the MISTRAS team with an “Outstanding Safety Performance” award, which comes as a product of both companies’ commitment to safe operations. MISTRAS’ culture of accountability and Chevron’s Ten Tenets of Operation encourage all refinery personnel to stay aware of any potential safety hazards, and authorizes them to stop work in case of any safety concerns.

The Pascagoula refinery is Chevron’s largest facility in the United States, and one of the largest petrochemical refineries in the country. MISTRAS employees are integral to the facility’s operation processing nearly 14 million gallons of crude oil into 5.5 million gallons of gasoline per day.
