This AE training course is on non-destructive testing of Power Transformers using Acoustic Emission. This is a Level I course, designed for those who are new to acoustic emission or new to power transformers, or need to extend their SNT-TC-1A formatted qualifications towards employer certification as required by the standards. Level I Specific (written) and Practical examinations will be given, developed in accordance with SNT-TC-1A.

• Hands-on session # 2: Trip to substation to Perform an AE test on one power transformer

- Day 5, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Continuation of hands on session # 2
• Data review
