ACOUSTIC EMISSION LEVEL III

Duration: By Segment
Cost: $800 Any Segment or $1400 All (Both) Segments

This training is offered in two segments. The first segment is for those whose AE experience is limited to a specific application, e.g. air flask or railroad tank car testing. This first segment presents a wider range of AE techniques and applications to help attendees get the broader grasp of the method that is expected in a Level III. Attendees should have solid AE experience and be exercising Level II responsibilities or higher. This segment is given over two full days (Monday and Tuesday).

The second segment is the AE Level III Refresher Course. This training is designed for those who are planning to take the ASNT AE Level III examination in acoustic emission. Course material includes a thorough discussion of the Topical Outline that is sent to examination candidates. Several advanced technical topics are also discussed, as well as AE Level III responsibilities in acoustic emission testing. This segment is given over two and a half days (Wednesday morning through Friday lunchtime). Customers are welcome to attend either or both segments. Course notebooks are provided.
