MISTRAS Services, a nationwide network of ISO 9002 and NUPIC certified laboratories specializing in traditional and advanced Non-Destructive Testing Services has supplied traditional and advanced NDT services to the Nuclear industry for over 35 years. Currently, MISTRAS provides services to the Power industry through our Power Generation Center of Excellence. The MISTRAS family of companies develops, manufactures, and employs leading-edge technologies such as Acoustic Emission, Automated Ultrasonics, Eddy Current, Vibration Monitoring and Resistivity systems. Our technologically diverse service line, allows us to provide reliable data that aids plant management in spending maintenance dollars wisely, as well as providing a sound basis for difficult engineering decisions regarding aging components.

Experienced, dedicated NDT nuclear power inspection professionals provide services to this important industry. These individuals specialize in Power plant inspections related to your components such as turbines, boilers, high-energy piping, transformers, nuclear lift rigs and condensers. This group is supported by our superior quality and safety program, and further enhanced by employing state of the art inspection techniques developed through our RC&A (Research Contracts and Applications) team. Many of these techniques have been sponsored and developed through interaction with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).

(ISI) Inservice Inspection: We provide Manual UT and VT-1, 2, 3 examinations in accordance with ASME Section XI, Appendix VII & VIII, engineering support, third party oversight, outage supervision, Level III data review, relief request assistance, procedure/program development and review, indication evaluation, IVVI, refuel floor coordination and NDT Instruction.
