MISTRAS Services has provided traditional NDT
services to the nuclear industry for over 40 years. These have been provided in support of nuclear construction, maintenance and refueling outages and major component replacement projects.

Many inspection methodologies have been developed in conjunction with the Electric Power Research Institute and replace more costly out of service inspections. These techniques help reduce downtime, minimize the cost of internal entry, extend component life and reduce costs by enabling the planned replacement of components as they reach their retirement limits.

) Inservice Inspection: We provide Manual UT and VT-1, 2, 3 examinations in accordance with ASME Section XI, Appendix VII & VIII, engineering support, third party oversight, outage supervision, Level III data review, relief request assistance, procedure/program development and review, indication evaluation, IVVI, refuel floor coordination and NDT
We are PDI qualified, including dissimilar metal weld and overlay examination.
