The award was presented based on work performed in the first quarter of 2010 by NDT inspectors from the Torrance lab of MISTRAS Services. The MISTRAS team worked a total of 8,886 Safe Man Hours incident free with no recordable injuries and no lost time. Weekly safety audits and safety meetings are used to evaluate employees throughout the quarter to determine if the company qualifies for the award.
